Summary
This study follows 1,500 adults having planned heart surgery to learn why some become confused or delirious afterward. Researchers will look at factors before surgery that raise the risk, and track patients over time to see how delirium affects their recovery and long-term health. The goal is to better predict and prevent this common complication.
