First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at medical records from 1,000 older adults (age 70+) who had planned minimally invasive surgery. The goal was to find out what factors help people get home sooner and stay out of the hospital. Researchers measured days alive and at home within 30 days after surgery. The findings may help doctors plan better recovery care for older patients.
