First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a long-acting painkiller (bupivacaine-meloxicam) can reduce pain and the need for opioid painkillers after robot-assisted total knee replacement. About 150 adults aged 18 to 89 with knee osteoarthritis will take part. Researchers will measure pain levels and how much pain medication patients use in the first 72 hours after surgery.
