Summary
This study tested whether an oral iron pill (ferric maltol) helps treat anemia after colorectal cancer surgery better than usual care. It included 40 adults who had surgery to remove colon cancer and were anemic. The main goal was to see if a larger study is possible, and they also measured blood iron levels.
