New portable MRI could make scans easier for kids
NCT ID NCT04629469
Summary
This study is testing a new, portable MRI machine designed to be easier and safer for children. The scanner uses a much weaker magnetic field, so it doesn't need a special shielded room and is less claustrophobic. Researchers will compare the image quality of this new portable scanner to standard MRI, CT, or ultrasound scans in children and young adults up to age 22.
