Summary
This study follows 600 adults who are already scheduled to have a standard procedure called POEM to treat swallowing or stomach muscle problems. Researchers will track how well the procedure works over time and how often side effects like acid reflux occur. No new treatments are being tested; the goal is to better understand the real-world benefits and risks of POEM.
