First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records and video brain-wave tests of 50 adults diagnosed with psychogenic nonepileptic seizures (PNES). The goal was to describe the different types of movements and symptoms seen during these events. By better understanding these patterns, doctors hope to improve diagnosis and distinguish PNES from epilepsy.
