First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study followed 42 sprinters to see if doing plyometric exercises (like jumps and hops) at least twice a week during the winter preseason helped their race times and reduced leg problems. Participants reported their best race times and any injuries using online questionnaires. The goal was to learn whether this type of training is linked to better performance and fewer health issues.
