Summary
This early-stage study tested an experimental drug called PLX3397 in 6 people with advanced melanoma that has a specific genetic change (KIT mutation) and cannot be removed by surgery. The main goals were to see if the drug is safe and whether it can shrink tumors. The study was completed, but results were limited due to the very small number of participants.
