Theatre program aims to lift teen depression without medication

Summary
This study tests whether a 7-session playback theatre program can improve mental health in 120 adolescents and young adults aged 13 to 24 who have mild to moderate depression. Participants will either join the theatre program or be placed on a waitlist. Researchers will measure changes in depression, anxiety, self-stigma, self-esteem, hope, and social support after the program ends.
