First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks for specific proteins, metabolites, and platelet changes in the blood of 130 cardiac arrest patients who receive emergency heart-lung support (ECPR). The goal is to find markers that can predict which patients are most likely to survive or recover brain function. By identifying these markers, doctors hope to better select patients for this life-saving treatment.
