NCT ID NCT04770701

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested a mix of plant extracts and vitamin C in 60 HIV/AIDS patients to see if it could protect and increase key immune cells (CD4+ and B lymphocytes). The goal was to slow HIV's damage to the immune system. The treatment is meant to be taken alongside standard HIV medications, not as a cure.
