Doctors prescribe fruits and veggies to fight hunger

NCT ID NCT06614920

Summary

This study is testing whether a 'food prescription' program can help low-income families who struggle to afford healthy food. Researchers will provide plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, along with nutrition education, to 100 families. They will track if this improves the families' diets and reduces their experience of food insecurity.
