Summary
This study will test a new rapid diagnostic test for plague in 300 people in the Ituri province of DR Congo. The test uses samples from blood, mouth swabs, saliva, bubo fluid, or sputum to quickly detect the bacteria. Researchers aim to see if the test is accurate and can help doctors diagnose plague faster, especially in remote areas.
