New imaging agent could sharpen pituitary tumor diagnosis

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new PET imaging agent called [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-RF in 30 adults with pituitary tumors. The goal is to see if it can better show tumor details and help doctors classify tumor types. Participants will receive the imaging agent and undergo a PET scan to measure how the tumor takes it up.
