First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at the long-term safety and performance of the Pitch-Patch, a polyester device already on the market used to reinforce partially torn rotator cuff tendons in the shoulder. About 37 people who received the patch 2 to 2.5 years ago will be followed for up to 3 years. Researchers will measure shoulder function, pain, and any complications to confirm the device works as intended.
