First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study is testing a single pill that combines two cholesterol-lowering medicines (pitavastatin and ezetimibe) in over 8,600 people with high cholesterol. The goal is to see how well the pill helps patients reach their target LDL (bad) cholesterol levels in real-world conditions. Participants are already on cholesterol treatment and are switching to this fixed-dose combination for convenience or dose adjustment.
