Summary

This study compared two treatments for piriformis syndrome, a condition that causes buttock and leg pain. Forty adults with long-lasting pain were randomly assigned to get either sound wave therapy or a steroid injection. The goal was to see which treatment better reduces pain and improves quality of life.
