First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to deliver treatment directly to the abdomen for people with advanced stomach cancer that has spread to the lining of the belly. It compares a virus-based therapy (VRT106) given as a pressurized spray during keyhole surgery against standard chemotherapy spray. The goal is to see if the new approach is safer and works better. About 30 adults aged 18 to 75 with confirmed disease will take part.
