NCT ID NCT07443735

First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether simple distractions like pinwheels and bubble blowing can reduce pain and fear in children aged 3 to 6 during a blood draw. About 66 children will be split into three groups: one using a pinwheel, one blowing bubbles, and one receiving standard care. Researchers will measure pain levels and emotional responses to see if these playful techniques help.
