Summary
This study tested whether Pilates exercise is more effective than standard physical therapy for people with chronic shoulder pain from impingement syndrome. It involved 34 adults aged 35-65 who had shoulder pain for at least three months. Researchers compared the effects of Pilates to conventional treatment on pain levels, shoulder function, range of motion, and muscle strength.
