First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a 20-week program combining mat Pilates with dual-task exercises (moving while thinking) can improve trunk strength, balance, and cognitive function in healthy adults aged 60 and older. About 67 participants will be randomly assigned to either the exercise group or a control group. Researchers hope the program will reduce fall risk and help seniors maintain independence.
