New study aims to sharpen genetic testing for breast cancer treatment

Summary
This study looks at different ways to find PIK3CA gene changes in people with metastatic breast cancer. The goal is to see which testing method works best so doctors can choose the right treatment for each patient. About 100 adults with hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer will take part.
