First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 39 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a drug called pidnarulex (CX-5461) in about 50 people with aggressive B-cell lymphomas that have not responded to standard treatments. The goal is to find the best dose and check if the drug is safe and can shrink tumors. Participants will also have biopsies and scans to see how the drug affects their cancer.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

pidnarulex (CX-5461)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a new treatment option for people with aggressive B-cell lymphomas that have not responded to prior therapies.

What could go wrong

This is an early-phase trial with only 50 participants, so it is too soon to know if the drug is effective. Side effects are still being studied, and the drug may not shrink tumors or improve survival.
