New hope for High-Risk aneurysm patients: custom grafts offer minimally invasive repair

NCT ID NCT07224230

First seen Nov 04, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether doctors can modify existing stent-grafts to treat complex aortic aneurysms in patients too sick for open surgery or standard devices. About 15 high-risk adults will receive a custom-fitted graft through a small incision. The goal is to safely repair the aneurysm and prevent rupture, while monitoring for complications over 5 years.
