Summary
This study compares an 8-week program combining physical and cognitive exercises using a device called Blazepod with conventional balance training in adults aged 70 and older. What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Physical-cognitive training using Blazepod device
What this could lead to
If successful, this could point toward a more effective, engaging way to improve balance and reduce fall risk in older adults.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 34 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The training requires a device and may not be more effective than standard exercises.
