UK study tests if chinese-style exercise programs get seniors moving
NCT ID NCT07365020
First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether a physical activity program designed for older Chinese adults in the UK is practical and well-received. Thirty people aged 60+ took part, with one group getting culturally tailored materials like workshops and a social media group, and the other group receiving a standard World Health Organization leaflet. The goal was to see if participants would join, stay, and engage with the program, not to prove it improves health. Results will help design larger future studies.
