First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at a 2014 Danish law requiring all public schools to add 45 minutes of physical activity to each school day. Researchers measured activity levels and body mass index (BMI) in over 5,000 children before and after the policy took effect. The goal was to see if the mandate actually increased movement and helped prevent overweight.
