This study looked at whether a 16-week program with goal setting, activity trackers, and exercise could improve physical fitness and daily steps in 8-10 year olds. 178 children took part, with some doing the program and others continuing their normal routine. The researchers measured fitness through jumping, grip strength, and running, and also tracked steps and body mass index.
