Moving more, sitting less: new study aims to boost health in head and neck cancer patients

Summary
This study tests whether a structured physical activity program can help people with upper aerodigestive tract (head and neck) cancer reduce their sedentary time and increase physical activity over 18 months. About 96 adults with newly diagnosed, non-spreading cancer will be randomly assigned to the program or usual care. The goal is to see if the program improves movement habits and quality of life.
