New scanner aims for clearer images with less radiation

Summary

This study is testing a new type of CT scanner called a photon-counting CT. Researchers want to see if it can produce better quality images while using less radiation than current standard scanners. The study will enroll 100 adults who are already scheduled for a regular CT scan. The goal is to collect data to help get this new technology approved for wider use.
