Summary
This study looked at two different wound dressings for cancer patients who have wounds that cannot be surgically removed. 31 patients were randomly assigned to receive either a PHMB-containing dressing or a standard paraffin-based tulle dressing. Researchers tracked symptoms like pain, tiredness, and nausea over three months to see which dressing offered better comfort and quality of life.
