New hope for pancreatic cancer: targeted drug combo enters human trials

Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new targeted drug (OMTX705) combined with standard chemotherapy and an immunotherapy for people with advanced pancreatic cancer that has spread. The study has two parts: first, finding the safest dose of OMTX705, then comparing the new combo against standard treatment alone. About 69 adults with metastatic pancreatic cancer will take part.
