First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving doctors genetic information about their African American patients can help them prescribe medications more safely, especially the blood thinner warfarin. Researchers will track how often doctors use this genetic guidance and whether it leads to better health outcomes. About 1,000 African American adults will take part across multiple hospitals.
