Virus cocktail takes on superbug skin infections in new trial

Summary

This study tests a mixture of viruses called phages to treat skin infections caused by bacteria that don't respond to many antibiotics. About 150 adults with infected wounds will receive either the phage treatment or a placebo. The goal is to see if the phages can safely clear the infection and help the wound heal.
