Shaking up treatment: can a gentle jogger bed help mitochondrial disease?
NCT ID NCT05569122
Summary
This study aims to understand how people with primary mitochondrial disease (PMD) respond to exercise compared to healthy volunteers. It will test both conventional exercise and a passive movement therapy called pGz, delivered by a special bed or device. Researchers will measure oxygen use, blood flow, and energy levels in the muscles to learn more about the disease.
