Drug trial targets rare joint tumors when surgery Isn't an option
NCT ID NCT04703322
Summary
This study is testing a drug called pexidartinib in Japanese adults with tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT), a rare, non-cancerous joint tumor. The goal is to see if the drug is safe, how the body processes it, and if it can shrink tumors in people for whom surgery isn't a good option. Researchers will measure tumor size, joint movement, pain, and physical function.
