New hope for lung cancer: drug combo shows promise in early trial

Summary

This study tests whether adding a new drug called petosemtamab to the standard immunotherapy pembrolizumab can shrink tumors in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. About 180 adults who have not had prior treatment will receive the combination. The goal is to see if more patients respond and how long the benefit lasts.
