New PET tracer could light up pancreatic tumors

Summary
This early-phase trial tests a new radioactive tracer (64Cu-DOTA-A2DM) for PET scans in people with advanced pancreatic cancer that has spread. The tracer is designed to attach to a protein called PSCA found on some pancreatic cancer cells, making them visible on the scan. The study will check the tracer's safety, side effects, and best dose in about 15 participants.
