NCT ID NCT04546126

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new radioactive tracer called [18F]FNP-59 to see if it can safely and clearly show cholesterol in the adrenal glands using PET scans. It includes healthy volunteers whose hormones are temporarily changed, as well as people with known adrenal problems. The goal is to improve understanding of cholesterol trafficking, not to treat any disease.
