First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging agent called 18F-FSPG for PET scans to see if it can find liver cancer more accurately than current methods. About 110 adults with liver tumors will get this scan before their planned surgery or transplant. The goal is to improve diagnosis and help doctors understand how far the cancer has spread.
