New study aims to sharpen detection of breast cancer spread

Summary
This study will compare two types of scans—PET/CT and regular CT—to see which one is better at finding cancer that has spread to other parts of the body in people with breast cancer. About 97 patients with advanced breast cancer will receive both scans, and the results will be compared. The goal is to improve early detection and help doctors choose the best treatment.
