Scientists grow Mini-Tumors to predict best prostate cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07004582
Summary
This study aims to help doctors choose the most effective treatment for men with aggressive or returning prostate cancer. Researchers will take small samples of a patient's tumor and grow them into 3D mini-tumors in the lab. They will then test different cancer drugs and radiation on these mini-tumors to see which treatment is most likely to work for that specific patient's cancer.
