Summary
This study tested whether adjusting the pacing settings on an existing heart device could improve symptoms and quality of life for people with a specific type of thickened heart muscle (non-obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy). Participants, who already had a special heart device (ICD), were randomly assigned to either receive a new, personalized pacing program or continue with their usual care. The main goal was to see if the new pacing helped people feel better and improved their heart's function over three months.
