Custom cancer vaccine trial seeks to train immune system to fight bile duct tumors
NCT ID NCT06564623
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a personalized cancer vaccine combined with two immunotherapy drugs for patients with advanced biliary tract cancer (BTC), which includes cancers of the bile ducts and gallbladder. The main goals are to check if the treatment is safe and to see if it triggers a strong immune response against the cancer. The vaccine is custom-made for each patient based on the specific genetic mutations found in their tumor.
