Massive study aims to crack the code of cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT02478931

Summary

This study aims to learn if cancer patients do better when their treatment is chosen based on the unique genetic makeup of their tumor. Researchers will collect information from the medical records of up to 10,000 patients to see if this personalized approach improves treatment response and survival. The study will also analyze optional blood and tissue samples to look for biological markers that might predict how well a treatment will work.
