First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether choosing blood pressure medication based on a person's unique heart function (called hemodynamic phenotyping) works better than the usual guideline-based approach. About 240 adults with mild to moderate high blood pressure who have never taken medication will be assigned to either personalized or standard treatment for 8 weeks. The goal is to see which method lowers blood pressure more effectively and safely.
