Does your personality determine if you can relearn to speak?

Summary
This study aims to understand if certain personality traits make it easier or harder for people to learn a new way of speaking after their voice box is surgically removed. Researchers will enroll 40 adults in France who had this surgery and are undergoing speech therapy. They will compare personality test results with how well each person masters the new esophageal voice technique.
