First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a surgical technique using a muscle flap from the jaw to rebuild small-to-medium sized defects in the floor of the mouth, often caused by cancer removal. Twenty adults who need this reconstruction will be enrolled. The main goals are to see how well the flap works for speech, tongue movement, swallowing, and appearance, and to track any complications like pain or infection.
