Summary

This completed study examined the types of bacteria in the mouths of 30 people, some with gastritis (stomach inflammation) and some without. Researchers used advanced DNA sequencing to compare the oral bacteria between the groups. The goal was to see if stomach health is linked to gum health at a microbial level.
